■　Cautions for using Maple17

  • ※1 Using below the recommended memory may result in a decrease in performance or limitations of certain features when running Maple. For systems below the recommended requirements, using the classic worksheet interface is recommended
  • The product is distributed via DVD-ROM, so a DVD-ROM drive is necessary for installation.
  • Maple requires network access (TCP/IP) during use, so ensure that any firewalls, filters, or anti-virus programs are set to allow Maple to access the network.
  • The Japanese version is only available for Windows and Macintosh. Only the English version is available for Linux or UNIX systems.
  •  When using Maple on 64bit Windows, installation of a special compiler for Maple will be necessary. Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 2008, 2010, and 2012 compilers are supported.
  • The classic worksheet interface is only supported for Windows 32bit and Linux 32bit OS.
  • Regarding screen settings, 16-bit color and a screen resolution of over 1024×768 are recommended.
  • To output 2D Math with MapleViewer in HTML, the following is required to correctly view the HTML:
    ・Internet Explorer or Mozilla 2.0 (Java Plug-in enabled)
    ・Java Runtime Envionment 1.6.0_18 or higher
