By uploading the video file to CLE, the student can download the video file and it is difficult to check how much the student has watched the video. For this reason, we recommend using Echo, which Osaka University has introduced throughout the university, for media classes that use full-scale videos. You can embed the video uploaded to Echo on CLE or link to the course page on Echo ALP to watch the video. Especially in the latter case, you can check when the student watched the video “when” and “how much”. Echo also comes with software called Universal Capture, which allows you to create lecture videos using your own computer, and you can download and use it. Defect information
Currently, older versions of Safari, including Safari 12.1 and Safari 13.0.4 on macOS 10.14 (Mojave) and 10.15 (Catalina), have issues that are caused by third-party Safari cookie toggles not working properly. . These issues have been resolved in Catalina version 10.15.3 and later with Safari 13.0.5 . Due to these cookie issues in previous versions of Safari , users will not be able to access Echo360 content if the content is embedded in another site such as LMS . If you are a Mac user, we recommend that you upgrade your OS to the latest version.

Echo is a lecture video recording and distribution platform provided by Echo360 . It has been introduced in Osaka University mainly for use on CLE, and it can be used by anyone who is a member of our university.
